tips on how to catch peppermint shrimp?

I just put 3 peppermint shrimp in to eat a few (3 that I could find) little aptasia. Well, I made a newbie mistake and put a RBTA in the tank and at least one of the shrimp has a liking for him. he did some damage to the side of the anemone. to the RBTAs credit, he did a good job fighting back, none the less, this doesn't make me happy.

i have been "starving" them so that they would focus on the couple spots since there are only 3 in the 120.

Now I cant get them out - they make catching a kids game in comparison.

any suggestions?

Beautiful nemmy!
Gary's right - my little female clown gives anyone hell (including the other clown unfortunately) if they get too close to her nem!
And..... it's so nice to watch them snuggle!

Yes, two of different age, but nest together. They haven't found the nem yet. I tried catching the shrimp some more and no success.

I'll locate him higher, I was waiting for him to attach to the rock which he now is. How high do these need to go? It's a 24" deep tank with 4 t5s till the sps come down from the other tank, then 8 T5s

Great news, I walked over to the tank and the peppermint was at it again. This time I was ready and caught him, into the frag tank he went!

Those guys can be little boogers - just depends on the individual. I had one that started ripping up the fan worm (rip little buddy - from the nem, not the shrimp) as soon as he got into the tank. I shooed him away though a few times and he got the picture. Funny how shrimp can be trained. My cleaner shrimp doesn't steel from the sun coral if I'm in the room

if you have not cought those "boogers" already... what i did was to use a plastic pop bottle, cut the funnel off, then invert the funnel into the bottom half, put a pieace of shirmp meat into the bottle, the boogers being all so hungry will try to get at the piece of shrimp meat and hopefully can not exit thru the small funnel hole, GL

The offender in confinement. Sounds like you speak from experience! The other two have not been an issue. Clowns have not yet hosted, hopefully soon!
