I am an average photographer and camera use is Cannon 70D and ef 100mm f2.8L macro lens mostly for corals photos. My photos are ok but i always fail to take any clear picture from above tank. I tried to take above tank photo for clams and zoas but photos are either out of focus, or they always show reflection of led. Could anyone please give me some tips on taking above tank photos?

I made a look down box using a piece of 3" PVC and a scrap of acrylic. Total cost about $2

I'll post a picture tonight when I can get to photobucket

also consider using a Polarizing filter. It is about the only filter I use in general photography anyway and it's great for cutting down on all the reflections on top of the water.
