Tis the season for, breeding?

Does anyone have their aquarium in a nonclimate controlled room in their house? Have you noticed any pairs of fish exhibiting spawning behavior? I have, its apparently time again for my Allen's damselfish to begin their song and dance. The male has created two sand mountains and unearthed two long buried tridacnid shells. No spawns yet, but his activities include burying any coral near the ground, attacking tank inhabitants, attacking my hand, and attacking the magnet scrubber, thankfully no damage to any of the tank mates.

Sorry for the cruddy picture, can't see the clam shells there or the culprit but the "mountains" sure do stand out.

That's cool you have some breeding Allens, I'm not familiar w/ their spawning behavior,my only exp w/ anything spawning would be clowns and that's normally every two weeks.
I will say my new clowns did just spawn for the first time 2 weeks ago, (And a 2nd time Sunday) and about the same time my snails sure got busy gettin' busy all over the glass!lol
Allens are one of the coolest damsels, so good on you!

They're a hoot to watch. Again, the male so angrily protects his spots I'm just glad no bystanders get hurt. I've read a couple breeding journouls about these guys, doesn't seen anyone's found what the larvae eat. Do your clowns breed with the seasons? Or had it just been all the time? With standard and persistent conditions that is.

Typically once clowns start spawning it happens every two weeks year around.
This just happens to be a fairly new pair that I have right now that have just begun to do this.
It would be nice to see someone that could help you in finding a solution for you, Allens are one of the few damsels that are normally pretty peaceful, to other fish that is anyway, sounds like your hand looks more like an intruder to them.
