This is to Grace's Dad & anyone else who was at Kents house for the pump mods. The ceramic rod that you broke will NOT affect your pump. Lonnie broke his earlier today and we put in back in the pump and it works just fine!! Surprise:eek1: Just place the longest piece in the bottom on the pump and the shortest piece up forwards the top. And for those like CAPnCAPO who lost the little tit like rubber piece, It should not matter as you will be using the zip tie's to hold down the mesh.

When it grinds up and ruins your magnet you will be ticked off.

I assume you mean the broken rod grinding up and ruining the magnet?

Well I didn't think about that. However it fits snug into the housing and the end cap is what holds it into place from moving. We placed back into the shaft just turned it upside down so the longer piece was at the bottom, the rod is together where it broke. So is it your opinion that it would still break up??
Theirs no room for it to slip or wobble around??

I don't have the rubber tit piece even on mine and still works fine...

Yea, me either. I placed three sheets of the MESH on my wheel and couldn't get the lil tit like peice back onto it. And then I broke my ceramic rod too. But the pump is working superb!! I also took Kent's advice about drilling out the air intake tube as well. Here's the kid in me.......: My lil' ASM G-3 is working BETTER than Lonnie's monster G-5 and he has 2 pump's!! :lol2: :D
