To keep or not to keep

I found this rather large, what I believe to be an amphipod, while changing out my filter sock. Would you put it back or dispose of it. It's hard to tell by the picture, but it's roughly half an inch long curled up. Sorry for the quality, couldn't get better with the light bowl.

I throw them back in my fug or sump. I actual will turn the filter sock inside out and get as much as I can out. Some I will but into the DT to feed the fish.

Looks harmless, I'd keep it; toss it in the 'fuge if it makes you nervous, it'll clean detritus for you and be away from fish and coral.

I dont see how it would hurt anything? Put him back

Thanks for the assurance guys. I put him in the sump. I figured it was harmless, just the fact it's so much bigger than my other pods had me curious.
