To those who planned/executed the swap... Bravo!

Got tubes?
Just want to say a HUGE thanks to all of the club officers and many others who helped pull this years swap off! I believe it was a good success and I'm fairly positive that at least the guys from Colorado will be coming back (Steel City and ReefKoi).

Its really exciting seeing people come from afar (I know of Colorado, California, and Wisconsin) to sell in addition to all of the regional people. I don't think there were quite as many sellers this year, but we still had a great crowd!

Good stuff! Lets get next year even bigger and then, who knows? Maybe MACNA Nashville? :)

We had a great time. Special thanks to Norm and Wayne for their work and for sticking around last night, and to Rhett for the tank. It's always good getting to see everyone again (and putting new faces with names).

I just got done dipping everything and was taking stock and realized that Jenn's Prism Favia was missing. We took it out near the end of the swap to show someone and it didn't make it back with us. It was in a specimen cup with a green top (like Triton's Garden's and Reefkoi-it came from Reefkoi). It was the only coral I was actually authorized to buy(:D) because she wanted it pretty bad, so she's pretty bummed. If anyone saw it laying out and picked it up, please let me know so I can get rid of her frown...

i am fairly new to the hobby so this was my first swap. i didnt know what to expect when going in. what an awesome event. i would like to thank everyone who had anything to do with it. thanks to all the sellers as well there was a lot of nice stuff there for very good prices. andy thank you for the ppes that was one of the corals i have been looking to buy for a while.

Thanks MTRC, an awesome swap, my 12 year old loved it, thanks for letting us donate the red cap to the Beech Creek Elementary.

I did want to take a second to say thanks to Wayne for letting my daughters pick the winning raffle tickets. They loved it. Next year I will have to instruct them in how to pick my winning tickets:D

When is that swap and how big is it compared to the Nashville one? Mark

It's In the spring I think around march but just go to the ETRC forum to find out for sure. IMHO It's well worth going though a little smaller but a great bunch of people.

ETRC is generally in June, Chattanooga in August, and West Tn (Memphis) in September (near third Saturday of month for all three). Nashville has historically been the largest every year, but attendance at all swaps seems to have been down across the board over the last year. Always good stuff at each one, though. Mark your calendars and keep an eye out for those rough dates for word on the different swaps.

It was our first event hosted by MTRC, we drove down 4 hours, and it was worth every penny (or i should say hundreds of dollars) that we spent. :lmao::thumbsup:
