Toadie Trouble

I have had this toadie for the better part of two years and have never seen it's polyps. It doesn't seem to be growing at all. Doesn't get waxy. Doesn't shrink, swell, die... NOTHING!!! I have placed it at the top, 6 inches under the surface under 6x39w T5's under fairly heavy alternating flow from eductors. Had it at either side of the display same level out of direct flow. Even placed it at the bottom in various places with the flow ranging from semi turbulent to fairly calm & indirect. All moves made at 6 week intervals to allow for acclimation to the new position. So far, no dice. As far as filtration I am currently only running a skimmer and some carbon as well as a remote DSB refugium. System is moderatly stocked and moderatly fed. Shrooms (red & blue stripe), hairy shrooms, GSP's, Zoo's, fox and galaxy are kicking serious tail. Could this just be one of those odd colonys that just never extend??

sounds that way for a 2 year old leather for sure, there are different types, ive had 1 with long polyps and 1 with short polyps, which look identical, you may have different type again, can we see a picture
