I have 2 2.5 inch tomato clowns in a 55 gal and i added about a 2.5 inch three stripe damsel. They were beating up the damsel at first so i put up a divider for 2 days and finaly put them back together today. My larger tomato and the three stripe are fighting every now and then and they seem like an even match and i am starting to notice bite marks on each of them. Will they eventualy stop or fight to the death? Should i put the divider back up? I need to know soon as my fishes lives are possibly on the line!
Thank you

anyone? i need some advice quickly! when i introduced my second tomato clown earlier on, the first one came very close to killing it but they are good now. but since the bigger tomato and three stripe are about the same size, it looks like they are taking some damaging blows. the lfs said they would stop but i am not completly sure
Thank you

IME, it isn't going to get any better. Back when I had my Clarkii pair I had a 3 stripe in the tank (( 75 gal )) too. The 3 stripe would only come out of the rocks to eat, and was then chased/attacked for its troubles. I ended up selling the 3 stripe since it seemed like the right then to do for it.

oh ok. not what i was wanting to hear but its most likely true. if it doesnt clear up soon, i guess i will trade it back to the fish store
