Tonga Live Rock

I'm close to starting up my first 75g FOWLR tank, I'm just making a few last minute decisions. The main one is what live rock to get. I can get 45lbs of plain fiji from my lfs for 160$-200$. I was looking at liveaquaria.com and I really like the deep water tonga large/show size. It come is 30lb boxes and would cost about the same as the LFS fiji rock. I was gonna supplement the live rock with base rock also. Has anyone seen Carib-Seas look alive reef rock.

The final thing is how fast can 1lb of average live rock seed 1lb of base rock.

Yeah, Caribsea's base rock isn't spectacular. www.marcorocks.com or www.reeferrocks.com has much nicer base rock, imo.

Would I be better saving my money on base rock and getting more live rock.

I would personally not do the base rock. (thats my opinion and I'm sticking to it)

I'd go with live rock. I have purchased rock fr Dr's Forest and Smith and have been very satisfied with the quality.

Also I was told to use a Emperor 400 with bio wheels on the tank, would it be a better investment to get live rock instead. I'm thinking about getting 60lbs of Tonga Deepwater.
