Too Many Fish for a 55 Gallon?

How's it going? I just got a 55 gallon oceanic aquarium. It's a bit wider than the standard 55 gallon. Ill eventually be setting this up as a reef tank, but will probably start off with fish then gradually start adding some coral. I've come up with a stock list but I'm thinking I would be overstocked. I'd like:

2 Ocellaris Clownfish
Yellow Coris Wrasse
Dilectis Pseudochromis
3 Lyretail Anthias

I could definatly do without the pseudochromis, but I'd really like all the others. I'm a little confused on what size tank a group of 3 lyretail anthias need, I'd be getting 1 male and 2 females, would they be ok in a 55? And what do you all think, am I overstocked? Any suggestions?
Thanks

My personal opinion is that you should not add the anthias...a 55 is too small for them and they are not a good beginner fish (also IMO). Pseudochromis also tend to be a little ornery, so it may be better to go with a different fish, such as a goby or blenny.

Yeah thats what I figured, haha I guess I was just hoping I was wrong. Maybe a royal gramma instead of a pseudochromis. Any other ideas for fish? I don't really like blennies all that much, and gobies seem too small. Oh and I'm not too fond of cardinal fish either. I know I'm a little picky.

I had luck with the diatom dottyback, similar to the royal grandma, etc. I introduced it last and in the dark. It sometimes picks fights with my sixline but nothing major. :)

That is one of the meanest pseudos!!! Species only tank, it will beat up most fish that won't eat it. And I am a big fan of pseudochromis and always encourage people to keep the peaceful ones but that just isn't one of them! Cool fish though if you have a tank for it.

Otherwise you are okay IMO.

The psuedo is fine with the fish you have listed for tankmates. Just be aware that you won't be able to add any other fish that live in the rockwork like psuedos do.

That isn't your average pseudo, it isn't like saying of that neon dottyback is aggressive, no that is a mean fish. They are aggressive.

woops, yeah I missed the Dilectis choice & just saw Psuedo.................agreed, species tank only. They've got some nasty teeth.

Any of the other Psuedos would be okay.

Oh ok cool. So do you mean not include the anthias and just have 2 clowns, a pseudo, and a yellow coris wrasse? Anything else I could add?

You certainly could have more fish. I have a leopard wrasse, royal gramma, 5 chromis, bullet goby, and a pink and blue spot goby, together for most of 2 years in my 55. I recently added rainfordi goby as well.
