That would be good.. They are rather hardy but require more feedings or they waste away. They are hard to get on pellets or flake. They shoal more than other anthias. They look almost identical though.

I ignored the infamous "what fish" thread and bought 5 anthias. Soon there were 4, then 3, then 2, then one. And it must have felt remorseful because it went carpet diving on my hardwood floor. I came home to my dog with an evil grin and stinky breath. No more anthias for me. I wanted something that might swim together some. I've since gotten some cardinal fish (cheap) and some weird purplish gobies(sp?)[also cheap] that seem to shoal a little.

the 1" per gallon rule is as outdated as cycling with damsels, 10-1" fish do not have near the bio-load that 1-10" fish does.

It is true but it is also dependent on your husbandry.
