I have a 250w 14k mh and the anemone is right under it. About 12" from the light. The anemone was deep red when I first got it, now it's bubbled up and more like bright red orange color.

I'm just guessing here, but if it's eating and otherwise looks healthy, I don't think you have anything to panic about at the moment. The color change could be an adjustment period.
I'm sure others will chime in with opinions once the sun comes back up.![]()

Thanks. I was just worried about having too much light. Do you know what happens or what the anemones do when they ARE getting too much light.

It could be at the bottom there is more blue color from the light, which makes it look more orange/red, but at the top it recieves more yellow/white light, which makes it look more orange than red. When my 10k's are on, mine looks like flourescent orange, but when they go off and just my actinics are on, it looks like a dark beautifull red.
