This is PDubbs' old tank. It's a 100 gallon starphire rimless tank from Glass Cages. It has a single corner overflow. It's actually the first time I've ever used a drilled tank and I can already tell there's no going back.

It'll actually be my mom's tank. My dad wanted to get her a new tank for her birthday and asked me to find one. We plan on setting it up while she is away this weekend. But we don't have a stand yet, so that might be ambitious.

Tank will not be a reef. It will be the home of my mom's 7 year old Niger Trigger (also a present from my dad) who has somehow tolerated living in a 55 gallon glass prison all this time. Incredible fish -- hopefully he'll enjoy his new diggs.

So first order of business is solving the stand dilemma. Tank has the same footprint as a standard 120. We're looking to either build one ourselves or, more likely, buy a piece of furniture. Any suggestions? We'd like something modern to match the rimless look, not the standard stuff they sell at Petco. Tank will be in living room of their condo.

Awesome score! I saw that a couple days ago and was sooo tempted! If it were me I'd do a custom stand then that way you can have it exactly how you want it an not have to settle for the standard designs of store bought stands

Advanced Aquatics now stocks custom furniture grade stands that I really like. Might want to give them a call.
