hey fellow zoanthid fans... here's a great thread to find out what your top 5 most wanted or liked zoas are.. you can include palys or protopalys as well... also, if you have pics of your favorites, don't hesitate to post 'em...

here's mine (though I have more favorites but no name yet)
1. PPE's
2. Purple Deaths
3. Armagedon
4. Tub's blues
5. Bam Bam Oranges

1. PPEs( just bidding my time)
2.Desert fox's (in the process acquiring)
3. Alien eyes( get these next Monday possibly)
4.Armor of GOD (have no clue)
5.Day trippers or Blue eyed girls( have a clue for one but not the other)

Hmm ok... I've got all that I had been looking for, but here's the list.
1. Blues (aquired Alien eyes 3 years ago)
2. Red (aquired Kedds red 2 years ago & Safecrackers 4 months ago)
3. Yellow (aquired lemon lime 6 months ago)
4. Purple (PPE's, First coral I ever owned)
5. Pink (aquired about 2 years ago)

here's some pics of my teenie frags... I'll have monthly progression shots of these guys...

1. PPE's - started with 2 adult polyps

2. Purple Deaths - started with 1 adult polyp & 3 baby polyps

3. Armagedon - started with 1 adult polyp & 1 baby polyp

4. Tub's blues - currently have no pic but have 2 frags (1) 8 polyps; (1) 5 polyps

5. BamBam Orange - acquired a 30-40 polyps colony

Hmm, it's hard to limit it to just 5 morphs but here goes:
1)armageddon
2)purple death
3)rasta zoas
4)shiznit
5)raspberry limeaides
Oh and unfortunately I have none of the above morphs and know of no-one who has them or is willing to part with them so if anyone is feeling generous, just let me know

due to a discussion on another thread to clarifying my ignorance on armor of god vs. armagedon, i respectfully withdraw my nomination for "armagedon", and substitute "armor of god" in its place

ya know all those past threads that argued over, "is a zoa orange vs. yellow vs. green", and we call those people color blind?

well, i think i'm name blind :lol:

shoot, i'm not even sure if desert fox is the correct name for what i'm thinking about, thats just the name i've seen that morph go for on ebay and some other places, on zoaid i think its called something else, i dont recall seeing desert fox on there??

pure insanity i'm tellin ya'll!! this is the kinda stuff that will send ya to the loony bin! :crazy1: :twitch:

of course! the top two, and bottom left i know were being called desert fox's from where i took the pics from. the lower right, you would recognize from zoaid. i honestly dont know if they are the same or what.

then theres this morph...again, no idea if these are the same.

Any pointers to that discussion thread? I'd heard about it from Whodah, but don't recall ever seeing it.

heard about it already? we were just talking about it the last couple of hours. no big deal, just interesting, never really seen these morphs discussed about in comparison.

Oh no, it was a different discussion

Quite a while back, Jeremy asked me to take a pic of both zoas in my tank, because some people had commented about the zoas being the same.

So discussion would have been around the time the pic got posted on ZoaID. Didn't realize it had come up again.

Whoa.. that top right one looks incredible. How much do these go for per polyp? WOW
