There are pathogens that affect LPS but it was my understanding they were relatively rare...

Tourkid had a like about disease treatment that looked good but I don't know if that was just for fish or not.

Will do Bill ! getting some dip from Joe right after work. I am going to cut the dead off and dip the rest and pray that it has not spread to any other coral in the tank. it sure looks nasty in those pic's on that page steven linked to.
