Hey guys. I have an opportunity to purchase one. Has anyone seen them for sale? Hardiness? I have kept bluelines and have heard they are similar. Its a pretty penny so I wanted to ask beforehand.

bit the bullet and got him. hes from bali aquarich. here are some quick pics. he has that wiggle when he swims which makes it very difficult to get good shots

ya hes about 1.5". hes pretty thick for his size. usually angels this size are very thin. have fed him a handful of times already and hes in a reef so hopefully he puts some more size on soon. i had to remove my hybrid pygmy angel because he was showing very aggressive behavior towards him. i may try to reintroduce him in a couple of weeks.

hes a pretty bold fish now. he just gets very curious around my gigantea anemone. good thing the clowns dont let him get too close.

Congratulations on a great fish! Is this the one Quality Marine got in recently? I think only two have made it to North America so far. Very exciting news, please keep us updated on her progress.

will update periodically. hes eating pretty well. i didnt want to qt him in my bare bottom qt system since he was so small and fragile looking so I am just monitoring him for disease/parasites. i have the sterilizer running and feeding him enriched foods. he has become very personable

here are a couple of iphone pics i snapped up. stupid clownfish dig around the gigantea anemone so much he always has stuff stuck to him. he eats like a pig though. i have been keeping mussels and little neck clams always available plus he eats the enriched flakes and mysis that i feed the clowns.
