tr1ggers Fluval Spec V Pico!

Looking so good trigger can't wait to post my tanks pic up still a work in progress but slowly coming along

Thanks!

dude wow this pico is awesome! really giving me an itch for starting a pico lol! would you say the kessil would go well over a regular 10g tank?

Thanks!

Hard to say. This light is the wide and does seem like it has a lot of spread but without holding it over a 10g full of water it would be hard to say.

I would try maybe finding someone who has a 10g with one over it :)

Sweet looking Tank. I'm thinking one of those would look great on my night stand. May improve the night life with Momma, nothing sexier than a sweet looking Pico next to the bed! Think I found a weekend project!

Are you running the stock filtration, or did you add something else?

I will get on it really soon I promise. A lot has changed including a load of new SPS. Just need to break out the camera and get some good shots :)

Rainbow Acan from the NVR growout contest is sprouting a load of new babies. Really stoked on this one.

Trigger with all your coral growing and LOOKING AMAZING are u dosing with aynthing or is that all natural?

Kent marine Nano 2 part. 1.25ML of each part each day manually dosed. Keeps my params in check. I wasn't at first until I was getting a heavy drain on my trace elements between water changes. At some point, I had a coraline explosion and the corals starting growing out like crazy requiring me to dose.

Looking great man! What do you think of the AIO compartment of this tank? I have a evolve 4 but I really am digging the length of this tank but that chamber looks like a PIA to work with.

I loved it when I first got it but I have to admit, maintenance back there is horrid. I have about 15-20 pieces of rubble back there that are just a nightmare to get to. Not to mention the new return pump size, Reef Keeper temp probe and heater. I just started running a AC20 for more filtration.

Debating cutting the back chamber out and running the AC20 with a MP10 on lowwwwww :)

Yeah that's what I thought but that's a lot of rubble in such a tiny section! Cutting out the compartment would be a good idea I think and go with the hob filter but a mp10 in this sucker would be crazy!

I agree. I am just waiting to get more money together for a much larger tank. Its always about the money :fish1:

Trigger nice work. It's always to me fun to see small tanks thrive. I have been in the hobby since the 70's. I have had 2000 gallon tanks an 5 gallon tanks. I love the smaller ones as they allow you to really get to know the corals and fish you keep much better.

That is so true! You really do get to know every little inch of the tank better and can notice changes and growth much better. Thanks for checking out the tank!

Great tank!

Thanks!
