I have a 20lb co2 tank pretty full but I have reconfigured my sump area and a 10lb tank would fit better. This is a aluminum 20lb tank stamped about a year and a half ago. I am looking for a 10lb aluminum tank stamped within 2 years or so.

Thanks for looking,

Clint :D

I just picked up a used reactor this weekend w/ a 10 lb alum. tank. I'll check the stamp.

What are the dimensions of your tank? It may not fit under my stand.

Thanks.

The tank with the regulator measure just under 30 inches. It is about 8 1/2 inhes in diamter. Let me know.

I looked at the bottle, but I couldn't decipher the numbers on the actual tank.

Is there a group of numbers I should be looking for?

Thanks.

Charles, If you remember what my 20lb bottle looks like. The 10 lb is usually the same diameter 8.5" but shorter. The 5 lb is normally around the same height as a 10 lb but only about 6.5" in diameter.

I have a 10lb or 5lb? I don't want to waste this guys time if I'm not even in the ballpark.. :eek2:

If you measure the diameter of the tank you should know if it is a 5 or 10lb'er. Like Greg said, the 5lb'er is about 6" in diameter and the 10lb'er is about 8.5" in diameter.
