My ritteri walked into an MP10

Whats the ****--and it was really poisonous, the water foggy and all the fish except the clownfish swiped out

my expensive anthias and glass cardinalfish

Never ever remove the protection cover. It gets its name PROTECTION for a reason

Had a nem get loose and stick to the foam cover before. Lifesavers. 3pk on BRS for $12. Get some for future use.

Never ever do chores while watching TV. removed the cover to wash it clean while watching DWTS. **** **** ****--------i just totally forgot to put it back

wavebox is nice but it has dead corner so i always have it supplemented with mp10s

Kidding aside, I'm guilty as well, luckily my incident was nothing more than a few bottles overflowing by my RO system (left the tap open), and a small flood caused by my protein skimmer (was restarting it and had it set open to much).

well, I'm a long time fan of the show and abc makes this season very hot And the hosts are the best of their kind.

Expensive but quality livestock. I just grabbed a Sri Lanka mag from LA yesterday. Just came today. Not purple based like I hoped but neon green oral disc and tentacles with purple tips.

Gotta say that I've got a very large Mag in my tank but still run my Vortechs without the foam covers :eek2:. Trouble with the covers is they quickly and significantly reduce flow from the pumps. I have just designed my rockwork, and have the space to do so, such that the anemone really has no place to go (other than free floating).

Combination of unshielded pumps and anemones is a potentially lethal combination and is one reason why one probably should keep them in tanks specially setup for them.

I was creeping divers den forever and never saw one come in. I ended up going sri Lanka on LA. Luckily it looks different than the mag I already have. Didn't want two of the same morph.

flow isnt my concern coz I have 1 mp40 n 2 mp 10 for my 70ish gallon tank i run them at full so the flow is still very strong

I build cages around my Vortechs out of gutter guard and use that thin mesh used for tank covers on top of the gutter guard.

It keeps the nems out of the pump. The foam protection wraps don't really do a whole lot. It will save the nem temporarily but will still kill it in the long run.

Could you post a picture. I built a cage out of eggcrate for mine, mainly as vacation protection, but it's cumbersome and uuuuuuugly.
