Have you tried live brine shrimp..if it works great if not it's inexpensive. If they do eat the live brine you could use these to train your Kole to eat other foods....
If your Kole is really small break up the food into pieces big enough for one bite..Mine eats everything I throw in the tank, but when I place food that is larger in size he doesn't usually eat it. Also, soaking the food in garlic may stimulate the Kole to eat.
