Transit of Venus

Hi all, this is not reefing related however as i am not a part of any photography forum and am apart of reefcentral which has a photography forum and some pretty knowledgeable individuals i was wondering if you could tell me if these pics i took of the scenery in Zion National park which happened to be during the venus transit in June contain the shadow of said planet in the sun reflection in the pics below. Quite an awesome surprise if it is in fact venus, however i just want to make sure this isn't a regular lense anomaly/occurrence when photographing the sun.

No, IMO that is simply lens flare, will happen most times when you are shooting straight into the sun, unless using some type of filter.

lens flare yes, but within the flare, it seems to me that you can see the planet in the flare
