I had not seen my feather duster for two days. Yesterday I noticed that the base of a nearby mushroom is growing around the upper end of the tube and I am assuming that this is blocking his exit or making him nervous. I know he is in there and alive because there is a hole in the tube and I can see his plume at times. My question is, do I intervene or let him handle this on his own? Surly, if he wants to move he can break free of his tube.
