Tree Sponges

I see a lot of tree sponges on online vendors sites and they sure do look pretty. I have read wetmedia's threads about sponges and it seems they recommend they be left in the sea.

I've seen quite a few photographs of tanks with tree sponges in them so I thought I'd post to ask those who've owned them if they were successful with them, what requirements these animals have etc., how long you've owned it etc.

From what I have gleamed so far: Sponges like high flow, need to be fed alot of plankton type subtances, are filter feeders, can be very toxic, don't expose to air, mostly not photosynthetic.

TIA

I have had mine for abot six months. When I had it under 10,000k
it seem to do bad. Then I change to 20,000k And the thing is doing awsome. I feed my tank liqud life coral plankton, dt phytoplankton and oyster eggs, and liquid life bio plankton. Evey other day the tank gets one of them. Most important do not let it touch the air! But you know that.
