Great job on the stand, sump, tank, all of it. Love the tank. Just ordered mine from AE too. Love the PVC bottom. Time to officially change your sig line tho.
Thanks CA and sig change done!
I'll update the lighting when I get the new 400w fixture.
Walter, I've always kept angels in my tank and have no plans to stop. I love angelfish.
The Regal just went into the display Sunday night so I cant really say about her yet but of other angels I have kept, they have all done pretty well. A nip here and there isnt uncommon but I've never had any real damage.
I want one more, just havent deided what one. Probably another large angel as the interruptus seems to be a bit of a bully.
I was trying to get some pics of the new lighting today and she followed me around like a puppy dog, so heres another shot just for you.
We really like the new lighting. The color is a perfect white!
The new rocks look terrible tho now under these bulbs because of some brown algae growing on them...
It was just starting to die back but now I'm afraid the 400w bulbs will make it grow even more now.
Hopefully not too much.
I'm starting off with the MH only on for 2 hrs a day and 12" above the water.
I'll add about 30 mins a week and drop it down to 9" or so over time. The spread is fantastic.
Beautiful Treg!! I love that pic! Try using your flash on the fish and see how it turns out. It makes a world of a difference when I used flash on mine.
It was a special order, not an add it to your cart kind of thing...
But I had Dan @ the Salty Critter (RC Sponsor) order it for me thru the Giesemann north american distributor in Canada. Then it dropped shipped to my house from Germany. It took a little leg work and a few emails to get it...
