OK, guys, I'm in the house, and my tank looks like crap! When I moved, I had to upset my sand bed. I lost my two clams

and it looks like so far, only two chromis. Not bad for a move, and the large bio load that this system sustains. I used to pride myself on the beauty my system had, even with the corals I would take in (all were sick, and dying when I got them.)
I am ready to have a reef club meeting, if all of you are ready as well. The meeting will be held on Saturday March 31, at 700pm.
I live in Piney Flats, and hope to hold the meeting here. My girlfriend and I just purchased a house, so be aware that the house is in disarray! All who are interested in coming to the meeting, please feel free to email me for directions
izzy_mustang@yahoo.com or email me for my phone number, and you can call me.
This meeting is open to all marine tank aquarists, Fish only, aggressive tanks, reef tanks, or people who are interested in reef tanks, marine tanks, and are afraid of the cost, maintenance, or what have you. We will help you get your tank going, and as a collective, will work through all related issues on such systems.
As far as I know, we have a few SPS guys, a master of some marine fish breeding (he's really good), LPS guys/girls. All members have something to offer. This is not the type of club where you will be beat down with "buy this, or buy that!"
Kenneth has a retail/wholesale license, and has some good connections. Mountain Reef has agreed to help with some sponsoring, details are being worked as we speak, and I hope to have the arrangements made before the first meeting. There is another local store that I'm speaking with on Tuesday of this week about possible sponsorship.
I want this club to be about helping people. Rumors of tremendous cost of this hobby have some skeptical about even attempting a system. I want rumors of that nature to end. I hope that this club will help continue the aquacutluring/captive rearing of corals, fish, live rock, and other such marine animals. The more people that are involved, the more successful this difficult undertaking will be. The friends I have made in this hobby will last a life time, and I hope to make more. No membership fees will be due at the first meeting.
Please, tell all of your friends who are already in, or who are thinking of taking the plunge into a rewarding hobby.
I've been apart of fish/reefkeeping for almost ten years. I learn more everyday, and still have much more to learn. Talking to other reefers and fish keepers are where I learn the most.
I'll stop my rambling, I just hope you will come join our reef club, and bring your family, friends, and anyone interested in this exciting hobby.
