Triggerfish interbreeding?

Hey guys
Friends on a dive today noticed a 'mating ritual' between a Titan and a Yellow Margin Trigger... we were wondering if these 2 can successfully interbreed - and if so, are the offspring fertile?

They are two different genuses, so should not be able to produce viable offspring.

The Titan must have been well preoccupied to not attack. ;-)

Different fish from different genera can hybridize, such as the case with american cichlids. Closer to home, Clownfish of different genera can hybridize.

Whilst it's possible, I'm not saying it is the case. Fast is, no one knows. So you get to see if it works out!
