Trip to Bangalore India

Whenever I travel I try to get into the local aquarium. Last summer I saw the London Aquarium and this week I am in Bangalore India. Based on what I have seen here so far, my expectations were not very high for the quality of the aquarium. But for 10 rupees (about 25 cents) I was willing to take a chance. I was actually not disappointed. While there were no saltwater tanks, the quality of the freshwater tanks was pretty good. I'll tell you that they are cleaner than at some aquariums and certainly better than at most of the so-called fish stores around Cleveland. The first aquarium at Cubbon Park was the better of the two.

The second at Lalbagh was not as big or nice, but at 5 rupee, again, I had to check out.
