Trouble some with GBTA

I have recently bought a Flourescent Green bubble tip anemone like a week ago. It was doing really well until today. Its tentacles have deflated and does not want to eat. It is spitting out brown mucus thingy. Is this healthy or normal?

I have a Lta in my tank and it seems to be doing really well. I had it for almost 6 months now and never showed any kinds of problems like my BTA had.

Could just be expelling waste...but depending on the size of your tank it's not necessarily good for it to be in there with the LTA.

BTAs often deflate and expel waste. They usually don't want to eat while doing it. It shouldn't last more than a few hours, and shouldn't happen more than about once a day.

It is expelling waste or it's algae. If the lights are not to bright it is most likely just waste and nothing to worry about. If it is under very brights lights I would try to move or shade it some how.

I don't recommend moving an anemone. It will go where it wants.

Well my tank is a 100 gallon 6 feet long or 4 feet but somewhere around there. The anemones are no where close to each other. Lta is all the way to the left side glass and bta is near the right side glass. But the BTA had return to normal and still have bubble tips.

But what does BTA preffer silverside or Krill cause my LTA likes silverside.

Most BTAs will eat silversides and krill.
