Trouble with my Osmolator 3155

Hey Roger,

I've got a quasi emergency. I have a 400 gallon system that evaps 5 gallons per day. I am leaving for a trip this Wed evening and REALLY need the osmolator.

The pump is shutting down. The redlight was blinking telling me that the water level was too low. The unit was unplugged and plugged back in and the light changed to a solid orange.

Checking the pump it doesn't move. I rechecked the connections and spun the little propeller. THe pump will then move slowly without pumping any water out of the hose. I have never used any additives or calcium hydroxide to clog up the pump, only RO. I haven't had the unit for a year now. I contacted Jimmy Walls at BFA's. What are my options? Can I possible get a pump that quick. Can I purchase an extra one incase this happens again?

Thanks,

Ryan Reeves

Yes, the fastest way will be to call me. UPS to Dallas area is usually 1 day but to be sure the safest is next day UPS. I can send you one under warranty by regular UPS or mail. I do have extras, they are not expensive, approx $19 each, the shipping though will likely be about $30 by Next Day. My phone is 512-833-7546. I'll be in tomorrow but it is a very hectic week as we just got in a shipment we need to inventory and then start shipping out. If I don't answer leave a message, it rarely takes me more than an hour to call back. Alternatively, Marine Depot stocks the pumps if you needed other overnight items and Jimmy might also have one he can lend you so the emergency is covered. I am pretty sure he bought spares the last time. If he has a new one I can send him the replacement and it spares the shipping expense.

Roger,

Thank you so much for accomadating me. JW will call you tomorrow to take care of the business/warranty stuff. I will PM you with the address to send it to. I arranged to have a friend come by and do top off when I am gone. *as luck would have it* I will give you his address, so he can replace the pump when it arrives.

Thanks!!!:)
