Troy's 270 Gallon plus Fishroom

could be... also I'm probably doing to much water change as well... need to find a point in time to get things all stable again....

I should explain myself with parameters meaning a fast drop of nitrates and phosphates. I would chill on the WCs and let the system settle. Then just check parameters in a few days and if parameters are close then go back to normal maintenance procedures.

I understood... you could be right

Wow can't believe its been over 10 months since I last posted. Well, the past year and a half has been one heck of a ride. The good news is that the tank is doing well and getting better every day. Frankly since I posted back last March and after the big-kill I had a bunch of life events that made the tank a second priority. Lots happening at work that led me to look for a new job. I fully expected to have to move so I didn't really pay much attention to the tank for a long time. Finally in Oct I took a job in CA that was going to make a move imminent but at the very last moment the job I REALLY wanted just 10 minutes from my home came through! Since starting the new job in late Oct I've begun to turn the corner on the tank!

I'll post some pics here real soon but the good news... I'm slowly restocking things and have the parameters all in check... tank looks good!

Just finished reading thru your whole thread. That is a beautiful setup and love your detail in constructing everything. Sorry to hear about the losses along the way but glad your getting everything back in check and to its formal glory!

Ok... here goes. Some pics!

This is the link you were looking for in the embed from smugmug

I had to edit it some as the less than and the greater symbol together will hide what is in the middle. Normally I would not edit it. Just wanted you to see it.

Share... Get a link... Embeddable links... Video Embed... I used the small link.

Firefox's little green download wheel just spins and spins. Right-mouse click says "Movie not loaded". Might be a permissions issue on my side. I have anti-scumware on my PC out the yin-yang.
