Troy's 270 Gallon plus Fishroom

Most likely. It could be the plugin also. Do you have other browsers? Chrome maybe? It could be a plugin issue too.

Same thing in Chrome and IE11. Must be something dodgy about the way that site does things. I'll live.

new fish in the DT today..... Leopard Wrasse, Copperband, 10 Green Chromis, and a great looking Purple Tang. The Purple Tang and Chevron Tang are being a little aggressive towards each other..... hopefully they will calm down after a bit.

your tank sure grew in nice, just read the whole thread tonight, horrible what happened with the cucumber, you seem to have tried Copper Bands a couple of times now, any luck? I'm just about getting brave enough to try

I've had very mixed results with Copperbands. Had one before the big kill that was awesome and he rid my tank of 99.9% of the aptasia. Unfortunately the past two replacements both didn't make it and I'm not sure what to do. It's really a shot in the dark to find one that will both eat well and eat aptasia.

Well guys its been a while again. Life just needs to stop being so busy! I'm moving my office from upstairs to down in the fish room so I'm back in the game wanting to get the tank back to where it was and beyond. Hopefully working a lot near the tank will help me stay dedicated and help find a balance between tank and work. Here are some updated shots of the tank.

My number 1 problem with the tank right now is aiptasia. I have a fat and happy copper band but he is not eating enough to catch up. He mostly eats what I feed the tank. I do see him nibbling at the Aiptasia on occasion but not enough. SO... I just last week added 30 Berghia Nudibranch into the tank. We shall see. They seemed to acclimate well.... but 1-week in and no sign of progress. Hopefully they are working up to the task!

From my experience Copperbands are iffy. He probably is not eating any aiptasia at all. Or just the small stuff you never see. Keep waiting it out. You will notice one day all of the aiptasia will be gone. I have had a number of Copperbands and some develop a taste for aiptasia right away and some months later. Most will come around in time.

Good luck!

My experience as well, which is why I decided to give the Berghia Nudibranch's a try. Anyone online have experience with them?

Here are some pictures of my latest equipment upgrade. I've had BRS pumps for a few years doing water changes and dosing... but one of the larger water change ones died a while back. I forgot how much I hate water changes until it died. So I upgraded to the Apex DOS unit tonight to get back in the swing of automatic water changes... doing 1% a day or about 3-gallons. These units are awesome!
