Tomorrow is the big tank and stand install day! The stand will begin to be put together in the am. Its being delivered in two parts to fit down the stairs. The tank will then be placed and the stand finished up!! lots of excitement!

in addition we finished up the tile in the equipment room today!

Thanks!! I'm sort of lucky in the sense that once my wife agrees to something she doesn't ever let me scrimp or cut corners. I sometimes like to move too fast and get to the end-state but she restrains me and ensures we do it right...

Ok guys and gals.... today was the big day! The tank and stand both arrived on schedule and Dion who built the stand and Eric who build the tank did an awesome job getting them moved, installed, and all finished up.... I was VERY amazed and happy!!

I'm still looking for ideas on creating a wiring box/box of plug-ins to put high up on the wall. I've completed all the wiring except that. I know I've seen some pretty cool ideas on Reef Central but its been a while.

Also completed painting the equipment room tonight! The spot I'd like to make a box for is in this picture... high up on the wall. All the wiring for the lights, vortex pumps, etc. will come to near that location.

Unfortunately progress will be halted for about 2 weeks as we head to 11 days of time of in Maui!! Maybe we will pick up some artwork for the room!

Some motivation! We visited the Aquarium on Maui yesterday and they have an amazing collection of coral and fish! Was great!

Ok... enough of that vacationing stuff now we are going to get serious in putting this big-baby together! While on vacation, and before we added up the vacation costs, I ordered the following:

250 lbs of rock from Bulk Reef Supply
A 6-stage RODI unit from BRS
Neptune Apex controller
Neptune Add-on For controlling my Vertech MP40s
Ecotech MP40 to supplement the 2 I have
6 - Radian LEDs from Ecotech!!!

All these goodies should arrive by the end of this week!

We also got some really cool artwork for the fish room... I'll post pics later..

Also.. after taking a short nap I got busy on the Equipment room building the stands that will house the Sump, Frag Tank, QT Tank, a work area, and a sink! A small start not the framework but a start non-the-less...

Reef saver. I wanted to go with pukani but the wife overruled me
