true and false perc spawning?

hello, i've had an adult true perc and an adult flase perc together for atleast a year. today i've discovered eggs on the glass where they hang out together. they are kinda redish purple color. will these eggs hatch?

Yes they will( or should). The eggs are usually a bright orange when laid so it sounds like they are a couple days old and viable. they will get darker with silver tips before they hatch.

neat, so what species do the young become?

They are Percula X Ocellaris hybrids. Some call them Percularis, but there is no such species. Better to keep them known as hybrids.
