True or False?

We purchased these fish a few years ago as True Perculas. We stress to the place we got them from that we want perculas and they assured us that that's what they were. for the last few months we have been raising there young and some are just about ready to go. i just want to get a few second opinions so i can be confident that what we say they are is correct.

could you also tell me what your looking at and why you say what it is.

The thin black lines suggest Ocellaris.

100% ocellaris

The iris of the eye is dark. The dorsal fin is higher than percula. The dusky orange of the female and reddish orange of the male are ocellaris traits. Perculas have more of a yellowish orange and are not usually dusky.

its ok a good achievement non the less just sell them as false perculas

its all good, its still fun doing it and about 10x's easier then the polymnus that we also do. just a little disappointed that they aren't what what we thought and paid for.

hey doodet!!! how you been sweetheart? they are doing great!!! mean as ever and getting jiggy all the time. heres some baby pics. dont know if you've seen them.

we've been skipping these hatchlings and only trying to raise the ones that hatch on Wed. Thur. or Fri. because they take so much more work the first week.
