TTM & Feeding

I hope you will help out on this.What is the right way and time to begin feeding new arrivals once put in TT? I will be ordering 6 .
Seems to me they would be more stressed than hungry. Is there a waiting period ?

i don't wait. i offer food immediately. it's hit or miss whether or not they take it, depends on the fish, but it's worth a shot.

I put new fish into first tank and leave it alone for probably 2-3 hours. Then I try feeding chopped mysis with fish roe. I also have nutramar ova but you can't find that anymore. the fish roe is a good replacement to get picky eaters going. If fish are extremely tiny, like baby anthias, I use live tiger pods in a bottle.

I monitor the fish. If they are all eating, I will dose Prazipro on my 2nd transfer and 4th transfer. Prazipro kills flukes and some other things.

If the fish aren't eating, I would hold off Prazi treatment until I find them eating. (except for the rare chances I catch Flukes on fish)

try find an Asian community. Asian markets always carry fresh/live seafood. I try to get wild caught sea food only.

I always offer some mysis immediately. If they eat, I take it as a good sign. If not, then I wait a day and start offering small amounts of various foods every few hours.
So far I have only had 2 that didn't eat at all.
