Update: drained acclimation tank. Drilled back for 1.25" bulkhead. Cracked glass of 20 gallon tank. Purchased 20 gallon jbj tank and the drilling went better. Plumbed back to display tank sump. Ran a return from display tank sump with rio 1800. Works great. Outfitted a flat egg crate for frags. Reinstalled all equipment. Looks great and keeping water parameters is a lot easier. Using the dos to dose mag with the apex. Return pump controlled by apex that shuts off if float in acc tank is too high or low. Don't want an overflow situation.
Changed out all tubing on the dos' to Neptune tubing. The 1/4" tubing from ace hardware is susceptible to clouding inside tubing. Used heat gun to make tubing pliable when I installed to the dos unit.
Added another three ai hydra 52 hd's to my display. Now I have 6 over a 240 gal tank. Great light. I have decrease intensity to 35%. Still at 400 par at top of tank. At 60%, the par is over 750. Will gradually increase intensity. Accl tank par is over 450. Didn't have to reset original lights to add the additional 3. Used wifi on my cell phone to add the new lights to my network. Got on my laptop, with wifi, ( didn't have any luck on my Ethernet desktop or cell phone) used browser to connect to parent light, searched for each new light, that I had to do the wireless setup per the instruction guide, and add as child light. And boom, all set up. Note: led's get super hot so not a good idea to stack or place led down on desk or furniture. Will damage.
Coral polyps are extending. Ca 460, alk 10, mag 1550, nitrate 0, phosphate 0, and ammonia 0.
Dialed in calcium reactor. Pictures to follow.
