Tunze 6055.240 Adapter dead

Greetings - I had purchased a pair of 6055's in sept 2007. One of the adapters is now dead (no light). I am wondering if I have any options as far as repairing it myself, or if there is any warranty out this far?

If I have to reorder I am wondering what the life expectancy is on this part, i.e. should I be ordering two if the other adapter is close to dying as well.

They should last a few years minimum, it is basically a laptop power supply so figure it will last as long as most of those. They are all made in China, so they aren't the best they could be but we tried pretty hard to find the coolest running most reliable ones we could, we tested dozens of them before settling on what we use. Send it in, as long is it didn't get wet it will be replaced under warranty. Be sure your return address is in the box.
