Tunze 6060 info, who owns them

I was going to buy a Tunze 6060 and was wanting to know, how are they?

I mean the price tag is beefy and i know they use very little wattage but are they a typical powerhead or what, what makes them above most others?

i've got two in my 100g and they put out alot wider flow than the seio's......but u can't put them on a controller.

Yeah I'm not worried about a controller

I just like to have my PH's run all the time

I would get the 6000. The controller is nice. Tunze is a great product and I would not buy anything else unless you want to buy twice.

BTW, the contoller does not turn it on and off. It simulates a pulseing between two different strengths of low. That is why they are so good; the chaotic motion of the water.

I use to have the 6060 and their great just not as convinient as the NANO models. You can buy the nano series and do the mod to get more flow. The 6025 is rated at 625GPH but after the mod its 1020+GPH.

I have 3 6025's and a 6000 on my 90. Spend the extra $30 and get the 6045's.
