Tunze 6060 Uh Oh !!!

My Tunze 6060 is Seized up..

The 2'nd picture shows the inside is all messed up.

I also think the impeller is broken, Should it be seperated like it is in the picture?

I know I have to send it in.

Any idea what this will cost off hand, worst case ??

How old is this pump about? Do you have a clearer pic of the inside of the impeller housing?

Krazy K,

The break shoes are missing these hold the drive shaft onto the magnetic drive, the picture of the motor block is not to clear looks like the bush bearing is out of shape maybe?

Its a year and half to 2 years old.

Can I send it in when roger returns to have him look and see if its worth repairng?

I dont have a reciept

I'm willing to pay to repair it if it isnt much..

My other 6060 is still running strong though

I've upgraded to two 6100's and two 6000's with the7095 controller..

I wanted to sell my two 6060's to get some cash back on the new investment. Ya know ?

Like I said, if it wont cost to much to repair it, I'd be willing to...
