tunze 6060 won't stay still, suggestions??

my new tank came with a tunze 6060 and it's great, very strong, perfect for a 72l tank, but it won't stay in the position i put in it. it'll turn itself clockwise or counterclockwise and end up causing a huge sand storm in my tank or knock corals over.

Look closely at parts 6080.230 (post piece with hinge) and 6080.400 (swivel arm), these pieces have serrations that must mesh together. It may be the serrations have worn down in which case replacing these pieces is one way or just loop a cable tie through the two piece to hold them tight.

Since you're local i'll look through my box of spare bits since i recall seeing those two parts in there. If i have them you can have them for free. If i dont have them then you can order them from tunze or tom at socal tropical fish may have them in stock.
