Tunze 6095 and Reef Pi

Thanks for your time!

I'm considering building a reef pie(link) to provide heater safeguards, water level info and to automate/schedule feedings. The feedings feature would require me to stop and start my two 6095's and their related controller via a duplex outlet on a relay. I would still use the built in 6095 controler(currently set up in a master/slave arrangement)

Any concerns?

It is less than ideal, if the switching is harsh or flutters it could cause a power supply failure, the best would be a connection to the DIN port and low voltage control rather than switching the power supplies. With a good relay and circuit it would be OK.
