Roger, I got my order last wed 4 tunze 6200 for my 240g cube 48x48x24. Total is approx 21000 gph on 4 stream. do you think it is going to be too much for the cube? Which option should i select for better affect. pulse, interval1, interval 2 or subsequence? tank going to be BB

I really like interval 2, That way you can get a action similar to a wavebox provided 1-2 and 3-4 are arcoss from each other on the tank.

If it is SPS it might be OK but that is a lot of flow, i would have just bought 2 pumps to start. I agree that Interval 2 is the best mainly for pump life and preventing things from getting in the pump.

I think it should be just right, but a lot depends on your aquascaping and the direction you aim the pumps.

Planning to line them up on the back of the tank or two on top and two toward the bottom on the back wall. I really don't want to put anything on the front. But if it going to work better, i will have two on the back and two on the front.

My aquascape will be low and it is going to be a U shape. since i am running 1000w metal halide, i don't want my corals to be too close to the surface.

I will defer to Chris on this one, he has more large tank experience. Honestly I would try a few positions and see what works.
