Tunze 7096 Controller

Hello Everyone,

Looking to buy this controller but have a few questions.
There are three modes in this controller: Pulse, Interval and Sequential.
Is it possible to set it up so that it would run pulse mode for few hours and change to interval mode and then change to sequential mode?
Or the only way to change to another mode is for me to plug it into a computer and change it?

As far as I know, the only way to change modes is to plug it into your computer.

+1^ You won't be able to do random changes like that unless you are running your Tunze (Controllable) pumps with a controller like Porfilux, Apex and I think Reef Keeper or something simular. I had a 7096 and once you set the mode you can only change this through the USB hooked to your computer but you cannot set it up for random modes.

Correct. Plug in to change. I currently have one. Love it. But more random flow might be cool too. It does have "storm" mode that cycles through the modes once in awhile

Well, yes and no. The storm is an event that has a defined sequence of events that lasts a specific period of time. I can't remember what that time frame is, if you post in the Tunze sponsor forum Roger or Craig would for sure know it.

In the 7096 program, you can specify how often storm mode occurs, so I suppose if you set the storm to occur often enough, it would have the frequency you're looking for.
