Tunze 9010 question

Hi Roger,

My sump is 16" in height, in the section of the sump where I want to put the Tunze 9010 skimmer, the water height is 15".

I was wondering, how I could setup the Tunze 9010 in that section of the sump ? Is the water height in the section to high ? Will I have to use the Doc skimmer extension set (9005.400) ? If so, I imagine the Doc skimmer extension set would be completely submerged under water. Is this ok ?

You could prop it up on a platform or use it in its in tank form hanging from the sump edge at the correct depth. The 9005.40 is included.

Yeah, but you didn't tell me if the 9005.400 can be submerged under water or not ?

If it can be completely submerged under water then I have no problem, else I would have to prop it up like you say.

It cannot be submerged. You would need to prop it up.
