Interesting, that even after I turn off the Blue Air valve completely, the microbubbles keep coming with big flow.

Top or bottom? If it's the top that's not a big deal.. Does the blue air screw wiggle any?

hmmm dont know if I understand you correctly -to change the position of motor block isnt possible because there is only way to put in the motor block.

If you take the clips off of the side of the pump where it holds the face plate to the motor block. The face plate will slide around if you twist it.

I would hold off for the time being. I know it's frustrating to see bubbles everywhere. But it could be something very simple that I've overlooked. Have you done any water changes in the past 2 weeks after installation of the skimmer? Some of the bubble's can be associated with changing the tension of the water. additive's, hands in the water. Perhaps just give the skimmer 24-48 hours to adjust itself with the water and well go from there.

I have mine mounted in tank in strong current. Small amounts of bubbles escape when the is foam rising into the cup. It isn't enough to bother me. When the foam collapses after I feed or clean, the escaping bubbles increase for a while.

Thank you very much, guys, for your help. Yes , it is really annoying to see the tank full of bubbles after you bought expensive skimmer. Anyway, I prefer that with skimmer is everythink ok, as you can see from the pictures, and from skimmer work. So maybe it is really from water quality. Yes, the water change was done is past two weeks, because I am doing water change evey 2 weeks. Also aminoacid was added every evening, only stopped 3 days ago. Also the aquarium is not new, it was 8-month age without skimmer, and I even can see some green color in skimmate - maybe this mean smth?

Anyway, I will wait for two more weeks.

It is the amino acid, I used to use BioTip and had the same problem. It will take 2-3 weeks of not using this additive but step by step it will improve, water changes and carbon will help.

hmmm thank you!!! now at least I can calm down. Only sad,it mean that I couldnt use aminoacids at all. I used Reefstar one-two drop every evening for couple weeks before skimmer was added.
