Hey Roger just wondering if there was more info on the aquawind. I see a pic and a rough description, But no stats and no mounting plans. Just need to see if it will work for my application and how much air flow it has.
I have a 300 gal 6ftx3ftx27 inches tall tank. I want to use this as a fan/s mounted in my cannopy.

I checked out the tunze site and i do see a crude picture of the holding bracket. I have a 1.5x 3/4 inch thick oak strip of wood i need to clamp that to in the back of my cannopy.

It is not really intended for a tank of this size and won't work very well with a canopy. It is really for tanks below 120 gallons.

Well i was going to use a couple, and tank cooling was not a concern. Its just to move air across my lighting. :)

It doesn't work very well for that application. It is designed primarily to encourage evaporation. To dissipate heat from lighting it would be more effective to have an exhaust fan.

My tank is pretty close to the wall behind it. How much clearance is required from the tank edge away from the tank?
Thanks

Unfortunately, they are out of stock, so I don't have one I can measure, I can estimate it is about 2.5", but maybe a user could answer or a dealer with one in stock could check for you. If you bump this next week, I will be at the factory and can get you an answer.

you need about 3.25" to be comfortable with it, mainly because the plug comes out from the back and has a part that cannot be bent
