Some of the retailers here in Australia are saying that certain parts are made and assembled in china now.

True or rumour

Just bought a wavebox and don't want to be dissapointed

Hi Zimby,

Tunze is produced in Germany.
The only part I am aware of that comes from China is the magnets as this is the case for all magnets with all brands of pumps.
If the pumps are coming from China why cant we get enough stock I dont know of any Chinese production with such a waiting list.

The power supply is also made in China, to be technically exact it is made in Hong Kong which is now a Chinese territory. We took over a year to source the power supply and tested just about every manufacturers power supply, these were the coolest running with no fan and that is why they were chosen. Power Supplies, like magnets are something that is almost exclusively made in China. The pump is still made in Germany at the Tunze factory in Penzberg.

Thanks Mr Vitko/Aquadepot, I believed this true in my heart hence why i bought a wavebox and am going to buy more powerheads for the tank.

What else would you reccommend for a 6ftx2ftx2.5ft tank. If i got mabey a 6202 would that be ok? would i have problems if i didnt have a multicontroller for the box/powerhead
