Tunze Comline Wavebox 6208

I emailed Tunze to see if 12/19 ship date was still on and got the following response:

"We have 15 coming in this week. This is only enough to fulfill preorders we received from dealers prior to Nov 5, we do expect more the following week."

I ordered mines on Black Friday so looks like I'll be waiting a little longer for that wavorama action.

find a used 6206 and save some cash. I got mine yesterday and couldn't be happier.

Cool. But why would you buy a discontinued product that sells for more than the new model, with a pump/design that the manufacturer says is less powerful/efficient than the new model?

well that's up to you. obviously you pay a lot less used than new. I just got one that route, and couldn't be happier.

I've noticed that Marine depot now has it in stock according to their website.

I ordered from Aqua Cave on Nov 11...they said it would be in soon.

Hopefully so, I'd like to stop trying to do my own "nutrient export mode" with my magfloat.

Seriously though, can't wait to see this in action.

The only concern I have is how high the standing wave will be...I guess you can turn down the power to suit if it is too high.

I called Premium Aquiatics yesterday and this is the reply.

" I spoke to Tunze. They said the production for these are still in progress. He believes these will be available at the end of January.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

^ That is correct. They take a fairly long winter vacation in Germany and it includes the first couple of weeks of January. The new Waveboxes, along with the other new products like the 6255 and 9004, will be available in good supply at the end of the month. Many thanks to everyone for both the interest and patience.

Thanks, Bill. Please let us know your thoughts after using it for a few weeks.

For anyone else who is interested, we sent out about a dozen 6208 Waveboxes this week and expect to get many more in the next 2 weeks. So they're around now, but will be much easier to find in the very near future.

Mine still works great, have a good >1" wave. I could get it a bit higher once I learn how to dial it in with my apex. But thats for down the road when I'm really bored one day. I have mine in the back corner and I dont even really notice it that much. Dead quiet too

Nice Let me know when you get it going with the apex. I also have and apex but i need to get me another EB8 since mine is full allready.

i noticed mine is louder if i put the top on my wavebox is that normal.i can hear the pump turning off and on.
