Tunze holder question

Do you guys know it the "Tunze Universal Clamps Part No. 0102.450" will work on an American style tank (like a regular AGA tank) with the usual plastic top trim? or are they just for the Euro style rimless tanks?

It will work on Oceanic but just barely, I think the AGA trim on larger tanks is thicker than Oceanic.
