tunze nano stream brackets

Roger,

I bought a nano stream 6045 at the beginning of the year and was cleaning it and the bracket that holds the powerhead has several cracks in it and is basically on the verge of breaking.

I thought this problem had been remedied? What do I need to do to get one of the newer brackets?

Thanks,
C.G.

To the best of my understanding after the material change the problems have been close if not none. that being said I am sure here and there like anything there will be a bad one in the mix and also the chance is small but could have been an old one on the shelf at the store where you bought it.

Send Roger (rvitko) a PM with your contact and shipping info along with how many broke and he can get you a new one.

Thanks. I am sure Roger will take care of it somehow.

The bracket is totally broken. Not in two but it will not hold the powerhead so it is useless.

Just shoot me a PM with your address and I will send one out to you, the problem is older stock persisted at smaller dealers for a variety of reasons, bad stock rotation practices, intermediaries with stock we couldn't track down, etc.

Received my new bracket today. Thanks again Roger.

I was wondering if you could tell me what changed between the old ones and the improved version? I looked at the one I had and the new one and I couldn't tell any difference whatsoever. The old ones coloration looked a little darker was about all I could tell.

It is hard to tell from looking. Only real visible difference is the thicker tabs, they also have a little bubble or tear of extra plastic where the tab meets the bracket on the backside. Other than that the major difference is the old were made of Lexan and these are made of Luran like the pumps themselves
